Meet the Founder

Education & Training

Attorney Nic Cocis received his Bachelor’s degree (With Honors) from the University of California – Riverside and his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific – McGeorge School of Law located in Sacramento, California. During law school, he served as a legal intern at the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office (1997–1998), gaining firsthand insight into how prosecutors build their cases — knowledge he now uses to dismantle them.

Criminal Defense Experience

Since 1999, he has developed an extensive background in criminal law, having handled over 1,000 misdemeanor and felony cases ranging from DUI and juvenile matters to domestic violence, white collar crimes, sex crimes, and murder. His practice is 100% devoted to criminal law litigation. His deep familiarity with the Southwest Justice Center — its judges, prosecutors, and procedures — gives his clients a distinct strategic advantage.

Clients We Serve

His clients have included professionals such as police officers, nurses, doctors, teachers, military personnel, and firefighters — people whose careers and reputations depend on the outcome of their case. He provides legal services in English and Romanian, with Spanish language services available, to clients throughout Murrieta and the neighboring communities of Temecula, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Menifee, Hemet, Banning, Corona, Winchester, and Riverside, California.

In the Media

A number of the cases he has defended have been cited in newspapers such as The Press EnterpriseSan Diego Union TribuneSan Francisco ChronicleWashington TimesHouston Chronicle, and the Los Angeles Times.
